GNC Expertise

Applied Where You Need It.

Whether you're building a system, improving one, or deciding whether to trust one — you need engineers who know this domain deeply. That's what we do.

Performance & Control

Your vehicle isn't meeting spec, or you want to push it further. We go deep into your guidance, navigation, and control architecture to find what's actually limiting performance — then redesign, retune, or restructure to fix it. Whether the problem is a control law that breaks down in real-world conditions, an estimator that can't handle sensor noise, or a system that works in the lab but not in the field, we've seen it before and know how to solve it.

Independent Technical Evaluation

Before you acquire, invest in, or procure an autonomous system — know what it actually does. Vendors have every incentive to present their technology favorably. We don't. We review specifications, test data, and live demonstrations and tell you plainly what the system can do, where it falls short, and what risk you're taking on. Our clients are making decisions with real capital or programmatic consequences. We treat it accordingly.

Modeling & Digital Twins

Before you test in the real world, test in ours. We build physics-based mathematical models of your vehicle or system that capture the dynamics that matter — aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, actuator behavior, sensor characteristics. We also specialize in system identification: using real flight or field data to build models that reflect how your platform actually behaves, not just how it was designed to behave.

Advisory & Review

Sometimes you don't need a full engagement — you need the right engineer in the room. We provide focused technical advisory: reviewing designs, stress-testing assumptions, diagnosing problems, and giving you a straight answer. If something isn't sitting right with your team, it's worth a conversation before it becomes a test failure or a program delay.

Great autonomous systems don't just happen.

They're the result of control architectures that hold up under real conditions, models that actually reflect how the vehicle behaves, and engineers who understand the difference between what works in simulation and what works in the field. That's the gap Skyray Dynamics exists to fill — for teams, leaders, and buyers that need that level of expertise without building an entire GNC department around it.
